God Is Most Great
Muslims are required to pray five times daily. They are summoned to prayer by a muezzin who calls from a high tower, today often using a public-address system. This is what he cries:God is most great.
God is most great.
God is most great.
God is most great.
I testify that there is no God but God.
I testify that there is no God but God.
I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.
I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.
Hurry to prayer.
Hurry to prayer.
Hurry to betterment.
Hurry to betterment.
God is most great.
God is most great.
There is no God but God.
There is no God but God.
Here is a portion of the salat, the prayer Muslims use at these times.
God is most great.
Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty.
Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty.
Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty.
Our Lord, praise be to Thee.
God is most great.
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.
God is most great.
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.
