Hinduism Today

Hinduism Today is an international magazine promoting the values and understanding of Hinduism and its culture. Founded in 1979, produced out of Hawaii and associated with the Himalayan Academy, Hinduism Today is distributed around the world and found online. One of the magazine’s goals is to foster unity among the many sects of Hindus found around the world. The magazine is designed not only for Hindus, but also for anyone interested in the Sanatana Dharma (the Hindu religion) and in the international impact of Hinduism. Melding ancient tradition and modern needs, Hinduism Today offers articles about events and issues in India and in Western countries. It covers a wide range of topics, from the Women’s Peace Conference in Geneva to the practice of yoga in Slovakian schools. The magazine maintains a digital archive of interviews with Hindu leaders.

Read a fascinating view of India as seen through Mark Twain's eyes recently published in Hinduism Today.
