Say this prayer when you need a little reminder of how lucky you are, and how God is taking care of you.

Dear Lord,

You have blessed me with a beautiful child.

You filled my heart with so much love it almost hurts. You chose me to be a strong loving mother and you trusted me to do it by myself.

I pray to be worthy of your faith in me. I pray to let your love flow through me to my child.

Through your strength I hold myself with dignity. When I meet people who judge me for being a single mom, I pray to be a shining light and example of a loving mother, guided by you. I know that their judgment will melt in the warmth of your love.

Lord, thank you for my home and for all the people who love my child. I believe that while I work hard, sleep little, and worry a lot, you are with me, watching over me and my child. I feel safe in your embrace.

Through your grace, I am the mother that my child deserves and I thank you.
